2025 Fall Softball League

University of Minnesota Morris

We would like to invite your 12U, 14U and 18U softball players to participate in the Morris Fall Softball League. The goal of the league is to provide area athletes with an opportunity to continue to compete this fall and improve their skills and teamwork.

Players can either register as a team or as a Free Agent. All Free Agents will be grouped together to comprise a team and coached by UMM softball players. Registration fees cover the costs of a training session with the cougar athletes, officials, softballs, and field maintenance.

Registration Deadline is Friday, August 8, 2025. A schedule will be announced the following week.

Teams will play double headers or have a single game with a training session on Sundays, Sept 7, 14, 21, followed by a bracketed tournament (guaranteed 2 games) on Sept 28th. October 5 will be an alternative date to make up games lost due to poor weather. Games lost due to illness or lack of players will be forfeited.

All games will follow USSSA rules for play with a 70 minute time limit per game. Each team will have an 8 minute I/O time prior to the start of the first game.

Games will be played at the Morris Softball Complex unless alternative sites are needed. The complex is located on the University of Minnesota-Morris campus.

What to Bring:

Teams/Players must provide their own gear including: helmets, catcher’s gear, bats and practice softballs.
